We were able to visit Santa Claus a while back and went into his office. There, we were shown how many letters and wish lists Santa Claus does receive each year.
We then discussed the possibility of sending letters through our website.
Sinterklaas also thought that was a great idea.
That´s why we created this page for it.
We can't send complete letters or wish lists to Santa Claus here, but each year in the time from November 1 until December 25 we can receive letters back from him.
Although we do have to make a small transition.
We hope it´s not too difficult for you.
Give it a try.
If you´d like to tell Santa Claus something or ask for some presents and also get an answer from Santa Claus, you can do so here.
To make this process run smoothly, you should first make a list of the following information:
01. Your first name.
02. Whether you´re a boy or a girl, don´t use capital letters here!
03. Your age.
04. Your place of residence.
05. Your nation of residence.
06. Who is your best friend?
07. What would you like to receive as a present? (1 thing).
08. What would you like to receive as 2nd present? (1 thing).

Now if you aks me for a real puppy or a real Kitten or a real horse or any other living creature,
I have to tell you NO! I don´t give living animals and I dont bring living animals.
I don´t give live animals because getting live animals is a decision you have to make together with your parents. Only parents are allowed to give live animals to children. All other people (family, friends, etc.) need your parents´ permission.
So ask your parents! (See also below.)
And I'm not bringing live animals.
Because high up in the air, it's much too cold on the sleigh for pets, especially when they're still very young. That's why I´m not allowed to bring any animals (except my reindeer, HO HO HO).
Maybe your parents will let you have a pet. And maybe they´ll give me permission. But even then, I won´t bring you one. I´m not allowed to transport them, and I don´t want to because it´s not fun for them.
What I will do (and have always done in these situations), if your parents ask me, is help them figure out which pet is best for you. And what those animals need.
For example, a pony needs a stable and a pasture to run in, so you shouldn´t take one if there´s not a suitable place for them.
And whether it´s a pony, a dog, or a cat, I can help you figure out which breed is best for you. I can often help them find the right pet for you. There are lots of sweet dogs and cats (even puppies and kittens) in animal shelters waiting for a loving (new) owner.
And that´s why you almost never find a pet under the Christmas tree. Most parents hide them in the kitchen or the shed until it´s time for that special gift.
Please note: Owning and caring for a pet is a big responsibility.
And remember: Even if YOU get a pet, many pets are family pets, so it´s always a bit of a pet for your whole family!
So if I see someone asking for a puppy, a kitten, or another animal, I always assume it has to be a toy! Unless, that is, I´ve received a request for help from your parents!

Once we are in the months of November or December, and you´ve made this list,
then you can use the link in the next line, to go to the page where the letter will appear (the link won't be available until November!):
This link will take you to a page where you can receive the letter.
There you can also have the letter printed out if you like.
NOTE: First, a question window will appear, asking for your name.
If you have answered (filled in) that question and then clicked OK, the next question window will appear with the next question on the list.
If you don´t know the answer to a question, click OK or clear the question box and then click OK.
If you have entered the information from your paper list for all 8 questions and clicked OK,
the letter with the answer from Santa Claus will appear.
Because we believe that what you ask Santa Claus and what he answers you is your private business, we don´t collect any data or store it in a database.
Therefore, we can´t transfer any information from this page to that page.
So you still have to fill in everything there.
As soon as you close that page, your information is automatically gone too! Santa Claus´s answer will also be completely gone; that too will not be saved!
So even you would have to open that page again from here and then fill in everything again to see a new answer from Santa Claus.
Because we understand that you would like to keep the letter from Santa Claus,
you can print the letter from Santa Claus for yourself using the "Print" button.
Only the paper the letter was written on will not be included; that is simply the paper from your printer.
Any pictures will be printed as well.
When you request a letter from Santa here, no form data is collected or stored in a database. We believe that the letter you write to Santa should remain private and should be yours.
What you enter is stored in the temporary "page memory" on your computer (so not even on the internet!!) and is gone as soon as you leave the page.
